ARP Chromoly 8740 washers are a special hardened Steel washers with a Black Oxide coating suitable for high clamping load and high torque applications. Designed to be used in conjunction with ARP 8740 bolts and nuts but can be used with many other fasteners to provide a stable and even surface.

Washers to suit thread sizes: 5/16" or M8

Outside diameter: 16.63mm

Thickness: 1.90mm

What is Chamfered? Washers used for high torque applications have an internal chamfer which prevents the very small radius under the bolt head from 'galling' as it allows the bolt to sit fully and correctly in the washer.
